Harvey Weinstein was rushed to California under a court order, where the disgraced producer faces a total of 11 counts of sexual assault in Los Angeles County involving five women.
Last year, Weinstein was convicted last year in New York of first-degree indictable sex and third-degree rape and is currently serving a 23-year sentence in a maximum security prison.
In Los Angeles County, Weinstein faces four counts of forced rape, four counts of forced oral copulation, two counts of coercive sexual assault, and one count of sexual penetration through use of strength.
“Harvey Weinstein has always maintained that each of his physical encounters throughout his life was consensual. That has not changed,” said spokesman Juda Engelmayer.
