Steampunk Bible event in Seattle with Libby Bulloff, Cherie Priest, and Jay Lake

While S. J. has completed her East Coast leg of her tour, on the West Coast, contributors Libby Bulloff, Cherie Priest, and Jay Lake will be having a Seattle event tonight at 7 pm at University of Washington Bookstore,
4326 University Way NE.

What to expect:

So maybe you’re a fan of “steampunk,” but want to know more about its origins. Or maybe you’ve heard the word, but aren’t quite sure what it means. We’ve got the event for you. Three authors immersed in this genre – where retro-times get their own versions of contemporary technologies, where Victorian mad scientists build massive airships and steam-powered robotic armies – will give you the whole, be-goggled, cravat-ed story.

Reading, signing, and discussion of Jeff VanderMeer and S.J. Chambers’ THE STEAMPUNK BIBLE will be hosted by Cherie Priest (writer), Jay Lake (writer), and Libby Bulloff (photographer), all major contributors to the book.

Please Note: Autographed copies of books are only available after the event.”
